Honduras
Our Honduras team will travel to Siguatepeque, Honduras to work with Providence World Ministries. Honduras is the second poorest country in the western hemisphere with an average annual income of about $660. Each year, Bay Life contributes to Providence World Ministries' annual clothing drive known as Providence-in-a-Box. Bay Lifers donate new and gently used clothing items, school supplies and other items by filling boxes that are collected and sent to Honduras. Mission trip candidates will work with an orphanage and the local community to help manage the results of this effort.Our team will also help with orphanage construction as well as several community and orphanage ministry opportunities. Mission candidates will be selected based on gifting, passion and ability.
Peru
Our Peru Team will travel to Playa Hermosa, Peru and work with Pastor Jaime Inga and his wife, Sylvia, from Iglesia Christiana Koinonia-Canete (a Calvary Chapel church). This team will help repair Playa Hermosa Elementary School and conduct a Vacation Bible School for the local children. Priority will be given to candidates with basic electrical, plumbing, woodworking, and painting skills. Fluency in Spanish would also be valuable but is not required.
